「検察が動くほどの法律違反を小沢の公設秘書は犯したのか？」はさておき、小沢氏が莫大なお金を集めた理由のひとつは、地盤、看板を引き継いだ２世、３世の自民党候補者に、世襲ではない民主党候補者を勝たせるためではないかと私は思います。
理想を語り、議論を戦わせて、勝利をつかむといった選挙風土は、残念ながら日本には育っていません。すると、どうしても地元のお坊ちゃん政治家が有利になる。だから小沢氏は若手民主党候補者に選挙資金を回す。小沢氏が選挙に強いといわれるのは、彼に集金能力があったからでしょう。
ただ、彼は次の選挙で勝ったら、「企業・団体献金はすべて廃止する」と言っています。メディアはそれをもっと報じるべきではないか。もし約束を破ったら、小沢氏の政治家生命はそこで絶たれます。
なのに新聞やテレビは「（小沢氏の地元）岩手県での公共事業の入札で（小沢氏が）便宜をはかった可能性がある」などと報じている。あったのか？ なかったのか？ それを取材するのが、あなた方の仕事ではないの？ 「野党の党首が国交省の公共事業に口利きできるのか？」それがこちらの知りたいことなのに。
